Call or Meet
Next, we’ll schedule a zoom, call or even meet up. Here we’ll discuss what you envision and your hopes for your portrait session. We’ll discuss where your finished art pieces will live and begin the scheduling process.

Your Portrait Session
Oh boy, this is going to be fun! We’re going to have a great time together. I’ll be walking you through a portrait session that will capture you at your best while making some lifetime memories. Kauai offers so many beautiful backdrops that will highlight these beautiful moments and memories. From the beaches of Poipu like shipwrecks beach to Hanalei Bay- Kauai portrait sessions are nothing less than magical.

Viewing & Ordering
Here’s where everything comes together. After your portrait session we’ll have meeting or zoom to view your personalized video montage. It is during this time that we will choose, design and order your artwork. All custom artwork receive fine art retouching and is delivered right to your door.

Based on customer favorites, I offer two options. Often, clients add onto these packages to complete their artwork collections, gifts and needs.

HOW DO I COMMISSION A PORTRAIT SESSION WITH YOU?

It’s simple. Contact me to get started. You can fill out the form here or call at 808.212.4329. I take a limited number of commissions each month so I always recommend planning ahead and contacting me as soon as possible.
Then, we'll schedule a call to discuss your portrait and artwork needs. We can even talk about the best shave ice or poke spots!
I am based on the beautiful Hawaiian island of Kauai. While I am always happy to travel for your portraits, please contact for availability. I take a limited number of clients per month.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO "COMMISSION" A PORTRAIT?
Commissioning a portrait session or art piece with me (or any artist) is a unique experience where you to trust me and my unique style to help create the art you may be envisioning. We work intimately to plan and design all aspects of your portrait session. From location to clothing. In the end you have a personalized work of art that will stay with you forever.
I offer two base options. However, you are always able to increase your canvas size or order additional artwork to suit your needs.
The Plumeria is a single luxury heirloom canvas with 20 complimentary digital art negatives for things like small prints, social sharing and Holiday cards.
The Hibiscus also includes a single luxury heirloom canvas PLUS the choice of a 30 image Legacy Album OR Storybox. Thirty complimentary high resolution digital art negatives are also included.

What should we wear for our portrait session?
How long is a portrait session?
This is a great question and we will explore this deeper when you schedule your commission with me. We’ll discuss color, style, pattern etc. Fun fact- sometimes these colors are influenced by where your art will live. I usually say to coordinating colors is the way to go. But more importantly- being comfortable and feeling confident is the best way to go.
Portrait sessions are often no longer than 45-60 minutes. However, depending on needs this can be adjusted.

Where will our portrait session take place?
This varies for each client. Due to the generally predictable weather on the south side of the island many of portrait sessions are in the Poipu area. However, I travel island wide when it calls for it from Hanalei to Waimea!
